Question: Why are you selling such a great Volkswagen Bug?

Answer: I bought this classic air-cooled Bug, and restored it, back when I was working as an microwave design engineering consultant for such places as Jet Propulsion Lab (NASA), LORAL, Hughes Aircraft, etc.. While other "consultant types" would drive up in their Beamers, Caddies, and MBZ, I would drive up in "the Bug." I meant it to say a lot about my consulting business, i.e., "a LOT more for a lot LESS," and I wanted to make a personal statement as to who "I was" as an engineer. <g>

I'm retired now and my meagerly "social security" check does notallow me to live in the grandiose style to which I had previously become accoustomed. <g> I need to pay off my credit cards so my wife and I to live within our current "means." If you're a young person and reading this, for God's sake, invest in a 401K plan, real estate, or SAVE. Do not let yourself go "down the drain" so that in your later years, you lose things you treasure, like I have, by not properly planning for your retirement! Don't repeat my mistake.
